Top Frequently Asked Questions

Explore answers to the most common queries regarding our braces in Malaysia (Bukit Jalil & Puchong).

1. Does getting braces hurt?

While getting braces doesn’t usually cause significant pain, you might experience some initial discomfort or soreness, especially in the first four days to a week after the braces and/or wires are placed and tightened. You can ease any discomfort by enjoying a soft diet during the initial days and taking over-the-counter pain relievers, as recommended by your thoughtful orthodontist.

2. Do I need to have extractions for braces?

The decision to have extractions as part of orthodontic treatment, particularly for braces, depends on various factors and is determined on a case-by-case basis. Not everyone requires extractions when getting braces. Your treatment plan will be uniquely tailored to your needs, ensuring the best possible outcome.

3. Is braces treatment costly?

The price of the treatment depends on your teeth condition. We also provide an instalment option for the treatment.
